welcome to the gamespindaily blog

every day i spin a wheel and it picks one game from my collection. then i share it here with a photo and a little note. retro gems, nintendo favorites, cozy picks, everything in between.

today's spin: two japanese majora's mask boxes side by side. the n64 art on the japanese release goes so much darker than you would expect. same game, totally different mood depending on the region.

which region had the better box art? tell me in the comments.

come back tomorrow for the next spin.

today's spin: the tears of the kingdom collector's edition

the wheel keeps being kind to zelda this week. this is the collector's edition of tears of the kingdom, the one with the artbook and the steelbook inside. the box alone looks like it belongs on display. zelda collector's editions never miss for me. the artbook is the kind of thing you flip through slowly, and the steelbook just feels special to hold. which zelda collector's edition do you own, or which one is at the top of your wishlist? tell me in the comments. come back tomorrow for the next spin. watch the daily spin on youtube: https://www.youtube.com/@GameSpinDaily

today's spin: kart or kong

today's spin was kart or kong. mario kart 64 and diddy kong racing, the two n64 racers everyone argues about. mario kart has the battle mode and the blue shell chaos. diddy kong racing has the planes and hovercrafts and the adventure mode with the boss races. both still hold up on a real n64. today's youtube short was a little different. kandagawa jet girls racing hearts edition on ps4 from 2020, all bright colors and fast jet racing. kart or kong, which one are you picking? tell me in the comments. come back tomorrow for the next spin. watch the daily spin on youtube: https://www.youtube.com/@GameSpinDaily
